Social Skills groups are small groups that teach kids how to interact successfully with others. Using evidenced-based practices and a small client-to-therapist ratio, we address the necessary skills to help your child improve their ability to navigate social settings more appropriately to help them be more successful in life!
If your child is currently receiving ABA therapy from us, it may be possible to bill insurance for social skills groups. If you are private pay, costs will be based on the level of support needed (i.e. does your child require a 1:1 staff) and the amount of sessions purchased. Discounts will be offered for families that pre-pay for blocks of social skills sessions. Contact BTS for current private pay rates. All groups are from 4 pm-5:30 pm weekly.
Clients are placed into available groups based on age and feedback from the Social Skills Improvement System (SSIS) assessment. The SSIS is a targeted assessment of individuals and small groups that helps evaluate social skills, problem behaviors, and academic competence. Groups meet once a week for 16 weeks at the BTS clinic, 6 Eagle Center Suite 3 O'fallon IL 62269. Groups start in August and January. Join today!
