Why Contract with BTS?
Applied Behavior Analysis is an evidence based science that has proven to be the most effective intervention for individuals with Autism and related disabilities. In the court ruling Endrew F. v. Douglas County School Dis. Re-1 on March 22, 2017, the Court held that to meet the FAPE standard, far more than a just above de minimis educational benefit must be shown. The Court ruled that a child’s IEP “must be reasonably calculated to enable a child to make progress appropriate in light of the child’s circumstances,” and that “every child should have a chance to meet challenging objectives.” ABA has proven methodologies and technologies that can support schools in meeting this new standard and may help avoid potential time consuming and costly due process proceedings!
