In-Home and Family Consultations
Our in-home consultations focus on helping your child and family at home. According to your child's behavior intervention plan, our ABA team will use a variety of techniques, methods, and procedures to help your child address any number of issues such as increasing language and communication skills, toilet training, compliance issues, and social interactions skills. These techniques may include teaching the child organization and self-management skills, utilizing visual schedules, setting expectations, providing positive consequences, ignoring “junk” behavior, arranging an environment or breaking general skills into smaller parts. Our ABA team will also provide you with consultation in other facets of family life. We can help your family with morning and evening routines, shopping, eating at restaurants, church experiences, and other social settings. Our in-home consultations can address problem behaviors such as: aggression, biting, echolalia, feeding issues, hitting, hand flapping, kicking, masturbation, noncompliance, property destruction, self-injury, scratching, screaming, and spitting.
Our school consultations focus on helping your child excel at school. Based on the individual needs of your child, we can provide therapy services at daycares and schools. A member of our ABA team will work with your child's teacher and other school staff to augment and/or reinforce services already provided at school/daycare. We can also help aspects of school life such as IEP development, whole-school positive behavior supports, and classroom consultations.
